Big in Dresden

The Thomas Channell Trio had a major success playing at the Blue Note in Dresden on 20 Feb. 2010.

The club was packed. The audience was amazing. The Band was hot. Thomas was on fire and using German on a whole new level.

"Es waren grosse Lieben, aber die Lieben waren nicht gross."

"Wir wollen kein stueck vom Kuchen, wir wollen die ganze Baeckerei."

Beate Baum wrote an amazing review of the show in the Dresdner Neueste Nachrichten and Leipziger Volkszeitung (See Press Page).

Another show coming at Cafe Hofperle in Berlin on March 31...and a major announcement coming soon about playing at one of the greatest venues in Berlin!!!

After a fairly quite early part of the winter (apart from the amazing Xmas benefit concert at WABE - so much fun, thanks to McKinley Black!) I will be back with my trio with two concerts in Berlin, as well as in Chemnitz and Dresden.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the shows!

The Final Countdown

So Berlin is turning out to be a really good move...I am playing in the finals of Troubadour, one the greatest singer-songwriter competitions around. All thanks to the great support in Berlin and to my musicians Thorsten Lastinger and Andre Wenzlitschke. Thanks to McKinley Black for her amazing work putting the whole thing together. I've been featured on Radio Berlin and on FAB television, all thanks to Troubadour. See you on June 13 at WABE in Berlin!!!

Here we go...
In preparation of my new album coming out, here is the new website for the New South African living in New York (for now). You get the point - it's all NEW! I'm very excited about using this to keep in touch - with YOU!!!!!!
